What is THC?
Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a psychoactive constituent found in cannabis plants and commonly used to measure the psychoactive potency, or mental ‘high’ of cannabis products.
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a constituent found in Cannabis plants, often considered the yin (body relaxation), to the THC yang (mental high). CBD is often synergistically combined with plant extracts and essential oils which can provide anti-inflammatory effects. The consumption of CBD may also mitigate the intensity of the mental high effect of THC. To learn more about CBD, check out Project CBD.
What are Terpenes?
Terpenes are the primary constituents of essential oils that are found in Cannabis plants. Various types of terpenes are found in different Cannabis strains, which may also provide wellness benefits.
What are different Strains of Cannabis?
Indica Cannabis is generally known for physically relaxing effects and a higher CBD content with complementary types of terpenes.
Sativa Cannabis is generally known for mentally uplifting effects. This strain is known for its higher THC content and complementary types of terpenes.
Hybrid Cannabis is a blend of two or more Indica and/or Sativa strains. Hybrid strains can emphasize complementary synergistic effects of different concentrations of THC and CBD.

Product Overview
Flower: Cannabis in its raw form, such as flower buds and leaves.
Pre-rolls: Machines are used to roll cannabis inside thin paper tubes to create handy, perfectly formed, joints. This joint, or “cannabis cigarette,” requires neither the inconvenience of a pipe, nor the time delay of an edible, to feel the effects.
Edible: Cannabis constituents are added to candy, mints, baked goods, sodas, juices, syrups, tinctures, capsules, and pills. An edible product can contain no more than 10mg of THC. Many only contain 5mg of THC, which is often best for new consumers. Users may experience a delay of 1 hour or more to feel the effects.
Concentrate: Cannabis constituents are concentrated into a potent liquid or solid form. A concentrate is typically smoked or vaporized.
Topical: Cannabis constituents are concentrated into products that are intended for direct application to the skin of a consumer. Topicals include balms, lotions, lubricants, sprays, creams, salves, suppositories, and transdermal patches.
